WEB DEVELOPMENT
Semester 1
In this unit the students will generate an understanding of how to develop web applications using HTML and Python. Students learn the basic tools used in web development including creating a virtual environment. They will make a website using HTML and will explore the use of Python code for web development using the Django Module. Students will choose a niche idea and develop a site that may be used as an example for an eComerce business.
GAME DEVELOPMENT
Semester 2
This course will appeal to students who are interested in designing and developing software, with a particular focus on the Game Development in the Python Programming Language. Students will start off learning the basics of coding in python which will include the ability to write code which uses various kinds of lists, loops, functions and classes. The Course will use the PyGame module and students will be required to program a game of their own.
