TECHNOLOGY FACULTY

The STEM course in Design and Technologies gives students the opportunity to design 3D objects and electronic circuits using Arduino microprocessors. They will have access to the 3D printers in the STEM Labs at Hillcrest and will learn to use and maintain these machines. They will become proficient in the TinkerCAD program which designs and simulates Arduino circuits as well as exposes students to a high level of 3D design. Students will learn to command the Arduino with the C++ programming language to program LED strips various ways.
