MATHEMATICS 
YEAR 7

Students engage in a differentiated learning approach in Mathematics based on the Victorian Curriculum. Students are supported in developing useful mathematical skills to apply to everyday life and with which to explore God’s created order. They are encouraged to identify mathematical connections and apply their skill to solve mathematical problems. Students will recognize how learning mathematics can serve others by solving problems effectively. Semester 1 areas of focus include whole numbers, geometric reasoning, fractions, percentages and algebra.
