SCIENCE
YEAR 7

The Year 7 Science course provides the students' with an understanding of important science concepts, processes, and ideas. The students learn how the scientific method is used to test a hypothesis, make predictions and propose explanations drawing on evidence to support their views. Students describe situations where scientific knowledge from different science disciplines has been used to solve a real-world problem. Students explore the way in which objects move based on what forces are acting on them and distinguish between different types of simple machines.
