Orientation Day

Students enrolled in Year 7 the following year have a full day orientation in November. The students are advised of their houses, subjects and teachers for the following year. Orientation Day is an opportunity for students to spend time in these different groups and get to know their peers and teachers, as well as familiarise themselves with their new environment.

 

Year 7 Camp

The Year 7 students are all expected to participate in the Year 7 camp, which usually takes place in Term 1.  The purpose of the Year 7 camp is to develop relationships between staff and students, to learn and extend skills, explore values and build friendships. Students rotate through activities in groups over the duration of the camp. This is an extremely important and beneficial experience for students and is a vital element of their transition from primary to secondary  schooling.
