HUMANITIES FACULTY
Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest or your souls.

HISTORY - THE MODERN WORLD AND AUSTRALIA
YEAR 10
Students first study the topic of World War Two, where they investigated wartime experiences in Europe, Asia and Australia and developed an understanding of how the consequences of this global conflict shaped the modern world socially, politically and culturally. The second unit examined Rights and Freedom through the lens of the African-American and Indigenous Australian civil rights movements. Underpinning this is the Biblical perspective that social justice is showing of concern and taking action for the least, the last and the lost, as a mandate of faith and a fundamental expression of being a Christian.
