GEOGRAPHY
YEAR 10

Students will explore Global Geographies of Human Well-being, investigating the concepts of interconnection and sustainability and how to measure well-being and development in a variety of populations. The second unit of study asks students to analyse Environment Management strategies at a variety of scales and whether or not they are effective when measured against global factors. Both concepts require students to build on social, cultural and political critical thinking skills for a fast-paced and ever changing landscape that is both Natural and Human Geography.

This course is offered in both Semester 1 and Semester 2 and may only be selected once.
