Semester 1
Students learn about camera functions and have the opportunity to explore the possibilities of digital photography for themselves. They will learn how to go beyond simple ‘point and shoot’ photography, and how to plan effective Media Products. Students will also be able to experiment with stop-motion animation. They will learn and develop media language and follow the media production process to produce print and moving image productions.

Semester 2
Students will learn and develop media language and follow the media production process to produce print and moving image productions. They will explore and learn digital photography skills for themselves and will be shown how to use Adobe application including InDesign and Premiere Pro. Students will learn about media codes and conventions and apply them to productions. Students will consider and arrange text with images taken to create a zine and later will collaborate with peers to create a short film.
